A real name and a real photograph
Not a first name and an avatar. If you are going to hand someone an hour of your week, you should be able to see who they are.
Who teaches here
Every profile on this page has to clear the same bar. Until a tutor clears it, they do not appear here — which is why this page is currently shorter than we would like.
Profiles
No tutor profiles are published yet. Lessons are running and tutors are teaching — what is not finished is the verification we insist on before putting someone's name and face on a public page.
Message us on WhatsApp with the language you want and we will tell you who is teaching it, what they hold, and when they are free.

"Goethe-Institut C2 GDS" or "CELTA, Cambridge". "Experienced" is not a credential and neither is "passionate about teaching".
A tutor listed under Levantine Arabic speaks Levantine Arabic. We do not put a Cairo speaker in front of someone moving to Amman.
Published on the profile, so you can see whether their working hours overlap yours before you book rather than after.
Because we have not finished verifying credentials, and we would rather show nothing than show a profile we cannot stand behind. Lessons are running and tutors are teaching — what is missing is the published, checked profile, not the teaching. Message us and we will tell you who currently teaches your language and what they are qualified in.
By language variety first, then specialism, then timezone. Someone preparing for the Bergenstest needs a tutor who has taught it, not a general Norwegian speaker. Someone moving to Amman needs Levantine, not Egyptian. We ask what the language is for before matching, because that question changes the answer more than your level does.
Tell us and we will move you, without an argument and without charging for the switch. Teaching is a personal fit as much as a technical one, and a tutor who is excellent for one student can be wrong for another. It is much better to change in week two than to quietly stop booking in month three.
No, and that is deliberate. For exam preparation, a certified non-native teacher who has taught the exam repeatedly — and often sat it themselves — is frequently more useful than a native speaker who has not. For accent and conversation work, a native speaker usually makes more sense. Every profile will name the qualification and the body that issued it so you can judge.
The trial lesson is with the tutor we think fits. If they are not right, we will move you.
