FAQ

Learning German online — FAQ

How long does it take to learn German?

With regular 1-on-1 lessons and practice, most learners reach a confident conversational level (around B1) in 6–12 months. Your pace depends on how often you take lessons and study between them — your tutor sets a realistic plan for your goals.

Is German hard to learn?

German has a reputation for tricky grammar — cases, genders and word order — but with a structured plan and a patient tutor it becomes manageable quickly. Because German shares many roots with English, beginners often recognise more than they expect.

Do you prepare students for the Goethe or TestDaF exams?

Yes. We offer targeted online German exam preparation for Goethe-Zertifikat (A1–C2) and TestDaF, focusing on the exact reading, writing, listening and speaking skills each exam tests.
